The Kindling sarong focuses on the ritual of preparing a fire. We come together to collect kindling, chop and stack wood, creating a source of warmth for our home during the winter months in lutruwita. My aim was not only to capture the heat of the fire but also the enduring warmth of the ritual, extending its essence into the Summer season for you to wear on your body.
